Mary Helen Favors

Mary Helen Favors, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Aperion Care in Waldron.
Born December 18, 1944 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Everett "Dusty" Wickliff and Alberta Mae (Weddle)
Green. She married Jerry Leo Favors on November 22, 2003 and he preceded her on September 3, 2007.
Other survivors include sons-Billy O'Dell Burchett (wife Cindy) of Bridgeport, Ohio; Bobby Allen Burchett of Bridgeport, Ohio;
and daughter Mary Rose "Rosie" Park of Wheeling, West Virginia, siblings, Karen Damm (fiancé Mike Davis); Janet Williams
(husband James) of Caneyville, Kentucky; Carla Lange of Plainfield, brother Richard Tucker of Shelbyville , 9 grandchildren,
5 great grandchildren and best friend of over 50 years Flo Comstock of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, daughter Renee Richards, brothers Terry Allen Wickliff, Jimmie
Lee Wickliff, Frank Tucker, and grandparents Mary & Walter Weddle.
Mrs. Favors had lived in Wheeling, West Virginia for 25 years and Shelbyville for 44 years. She had been a factory worker
at TRW Cinch for 14 years, Wesbanco in Wheeling for 8 years and a private setter for 10 years. Mary graduated from High
School in West Virginia and attended 1 year of college in Wheeling. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member
of Eagles Lodge where she was inside guard & trustee.
Mary loved being around people, and if anyone needed help or someone to talk to, she was there for them.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd,
with Pastor Randy Worland officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning , November 9, 2019 from 11:00 until the
time of the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
