Mary Shaw Obituary


Mary Etta Shaw, 100, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at Morristown Manor.
Born December 2, 1920 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Charles G. Stafford
and Mary Ada (Logan) Stafford.  She married H. Leroy Shaw on December 2, 1938 and
he preceded her on November 25, 1998.  
Survivors include 2 daughters- Carla J. Bullman ( Gary) of Bloomington Indiana, 
Cathy J. Shaw of Rushville; 4 grandchildren- Greg Bullman (Christie Popp), Carissa J.
Bullman (Harmony Jankowski), Adrian Degner, Cory Degner; 10 great grandchildren- Aaron,
Adam, & Ada Bullman, Alden Jankowski, River, Thomas, Stormie, Hazel, Isis, and Cove Degner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, 3 brothers- James, Paul, &
Dale Stafford, and one sister Lorene Hewitt.
Mrs. Shaw was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School.  She
had been employed as an office assistant with St. Paul Stone Quarry for several years, and was 
a member of Waldron United Methodist Church and     Norristown Order of Eastern Star.
Mary Etta enjoyed quilting, fishing, gardening, cooking, and making teddy bears.
Private graveside services will be held at Miller Cemetery.  No visiting hours will be observed.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or Shelby County Humane
Society, in care of the funeral home.
