Mattie E. Boggess

Mattie E. Boggess, 88, of Fairland, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020
at Franciscan Health.
Born December 15, 1931 in London, Kentucky, she was the daughter of 
William Leonard Robinson and Lottie Ellen (Caudill) Robinson.  She married
Ray Boggess in 1956, and he survives.
Other survivors include 3 children- Terry Hoffman (wife Laverne) of Monrovia,
Brenda Pero (husband Jerry) of Indianapolis, James Boggess of Indianapolis;
13 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by
her parents, and a son Danny Boggess.
Mrs. Boggess had lived in this area for 45 years, after moving from Morgan County.
She was a home maker, and had earlier worked at Western Electric in Indianapolis
for 20 years.
Mattie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Glenn E. George &
Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating.  Burial
will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00 am 
until the time of the service.
