Michael Gene Caruthers

Michael Gene Caruthers, 67, of Fairland, passed away Tuesday,
December 21, 2021 at his residence.
Born July 5, 1954 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Donald T. and
Norma (Stephens) Caruthers. He married Debra (Boles) Caruthers
on February 23, 1973 and she survives.
Survivors include children- Crystal (Jeremy) Cord of Fairland, Brandi
(Derek) Stover of Shelbyville, son in law Ben Shepperd; brother- Ronnie
Caruthers of Fairland, brother in law Ron (Susan) Boles of Fairland, sister
in law Connie Humphreys of Shelbyville; grandchildren- Paige Davis, Ema
Cord, Chad Morton, Gage (Grace) Caruthers, Cole Shepperd, Jackson Stover;
he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death
by his parents and daughter Kelly Caruthers.
Michael lived in this area his entire lifetime ,graduated from Triton Central
High School class of 1973 and was a lifetime member of the AMA.
 He was a press operator with Freudenburg Nok for 38 years, retiring in 2020.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, tinkering in his garage, riding his
Harley Davidson, and chasing down the checkered flag at the race track on his
dirt bike.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Glenn E. George 
& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00-1:00
at the funeral home.
