Michelle Renee Snapp

Michelle Renee Snapp, 63, of Marietta, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021
at her residence.
Born May 1, 1958 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Cletus and Betty Joyce
(Van Scyoc) Sexton.  She married William J. "Bill" Snapp on October 16, 1977 and
he survives.
Other survivors include a son Chad W. Snapp (wife Nicki) of Colorado Springs, Colorado;
2 daughters- Christina L. Watson (husband Jason) of Greenwood, Carrie E. Gooding
(husband Randall) of Shelbyville; 3 brothers- John Wright (wife Claudia) of Dugger Indiana,
Clete Sexton (wife Julie) of Shelbyville, Mark Sexton of Shelbyville; 3 sisters- Melisa Harp
(husband Tim) of Shelbyville, twin sister Myra Johnson (husband Mark) of Shelbyville,
Monique Jones (husband Rob) of Shelbyville; and 12 grandchildren.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents.
Mrs. Snapp was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Southwestern  High School
in 1976, and was a member of Mt. Auburn Christian Church.  She was a home maker.
Michelle loved the time she spent outdoors- gardening, fishing, & camping.  She enjoyed
cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be observed at Miller Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life/Gathering of Friends 
 will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road,
from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
