Morris Randall "Randy" McKenney, 72, of Flat Rock, passed away
 Monday, February 17,2020 at Methodist Hospital. He was born in Shelbyville
on August 24,1947 to the late Morris & Nina (Fox) McKenney.
Randy married Marcia (Jackson) McKenney on December 15,1967 and she survives.
Other survivors include children: Rob McKenney (wife Dawn) of Muncie, Tony McKenney
(wife Debbie) of Columbus, Michael McKenney of Shelbyville, Heather Sanders of Indianapolis;
10 grandchildren: Matt, Brandon, Cory, Emily, Courtney, Tessa, Tate, Jaida, Shelby, and Jamison; 
and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy was a lifetime resident of this area and graduated from Waldron High School in 1966
He was a truck driver for several different trucking companies for 38 years  including Fed Ex of Indianapolis
where he retired from in 2014. He also had worked as a factory
 worker at General Electric for 10 years. Randy was a former member of Shelby County Western Riders.
Randy enjoyed horseback riding, training horses, woodworking, fishing, and telling stories. 
He and his family had several state park riding stables. He loved camping, boating, riding his motorcycle with his wife to all 48 
lower states and all Canadian provinces, and riding with the "Old Geezers" motorcycle club.  
Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son
Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd,  with Tony McKenney officiating. Friends may call on Friday,
February, 21,2020 from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
 Burial will be  at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery.
Because of Randy's love for children and animals, please make donations to St. Jude's
Children's Hospital, Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter or IU's Simon Cancer 
Center in care of the funeral home.
