Nancy Benson Obituary


Nancy Elaine (Bridge) Benson, 71 of Greensburg, IN passed away at her residence on April 15, 2020.
She was born February 2, 1949 in Logansport, IN the daughter of the late Ralph and Marriam Margene (Favor) Bridge.
Nancy was married to David Alan Benson, who survives, on July 14, 1967. 
Other survivors include children, Michael David (Kimberly) Benson of Greensburg, Indiana; Mark Alan (Darla) Benson of
Shelbyville, Indiana; a sister, Sandra Blake of Noblesville, Indiana; grandchildren, Tyler Benson, Maggie Benson, Molly Benson and
Alyssa Benson.
She was a graduate of Waldron High School in 1967.
Nancy worked and retired as a bookkeeper, stock broker, accountant and also worked in  the crop insurance industry.
She worked for Premier AG of Hope, Indiana, Consolidated Grain and Barge of Aurora, Indiana and also for Diversified Services of Greensburg, Indiana.
She loved traveling, cruising and taking trips to the casino. Nancy adored her work family and clients.
Visitation for family will be private.
A graveside service, which is open to the public, will be on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 12:30pm at Van Pelt Cemetery, Shelby County, Indiana officiated by
Matt Morris, a family friend.
Arrangements entrusted to Glenn E. George Funeral Home, St. Paul, Indiana
Memorial contributions may be offered to Our Hospice of Columbus, Indiana and also to the American Cancer Society.
