Nancy S. Neeb, 80, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at her residence. Born March 28, 1942 in Rush County, she was the daughter of James Harper and Mildred (Powell) Fagel. She married Peter M. Neeb in October of 1962 and he survives.
Other survivors include 3 children- Penny Akers (husband Bryan) of Greensburg, Gregory Neeb (wife Tina) of Fairland, Dawn Millitzer (husband Darren) of Shelbyville; sister-Janet Loveless of Shelbyville; 11 grandchildren- Brittany, Ross, Grant, Marissa, Aliya, Michael, Corbin, Kennedy, Alexander, Aaron, Owen and great-granddaughter Piper. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 siblings- James Harper, Donald Harper, Peggy Harper Taylor and Gary Harper.
Mrs. Neeb had lived in this area her entire lifetime and graduated from Manilla High School in 1960. She worked in retail for several local stores including Walmart and also owned Nu-Trend Beauty & Tanning Salon for several years. Nancy loved the mountains, playing Bingo,and enjoyed their trips to Florida. She loved her family and grandchildren and the time she was able to spend with them.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd, with Rev. Alicia Gross officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
