Norman Johns

Norman A. Johns, 66, of Rushville, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.
He was born on February 17, 1953 to Mack Henry Dean Johns & Ruth J ( Ash) Johns. He married Judy (Shroyer)
Johns on May 7,1988 and she survives. 
Other survivors include his mother Ruth Johns of Shelbyville; children-Chad (Tonia) Johns of Shelbyville; Nicole (Stacey) Hornaday of Shelbyville;
Nathan (Danielle) Johns of Shelbyville; Chris Johns of Florida; siblings- Bill (Debbie) Johns of Shelbyville;
Nancy (Willie) Chaides of California; Lowell (Marianna) Johns of Shelbyville; 6 grandchildren-  Braydon, Josh,
Jeremy, Elizabeth, London, and Lennix. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Johns served in the US Army. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1971. Norman had lived in
Rushville for 21 years, after moving from Shelbyville,  and was employed at Ryobi Die Casting in the melt shop for 30 years , retiring in
2019.  
Norman enjoyed mushroom hunting, the outdoors, and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, he enjoyed
spending time with his family and his dog Peyton.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 18, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd,
with Rev. David Humphrey officiating. Visitation will be observed Monday, from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
