Obituary

Pamela A. "Pam" Kelly, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Major Hospital.

Born in Shelbyville on March 6, 1955, she was the daughter of Howard Mitchell and Peggy (Gaunce) Mitchell.

Survivors include a son Jimmy Kroening of Shelbyville, daughter Amy Sayers of Shelbyville; a brother Eldon Mitchell (wife Libby) of Edinburgh, sister Mona Parker of Edinburgh; 2 grandsons- Mason Sayers and Drew Sayers (life partner Eliza), both of Shelbyville; and a great granddaughter Athena.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Kelly was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Southwestern High School. She was a home maker. Pam enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, and loved spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the primitive shelter house at Sunset Park. Everyone is invited to come and celebrate the life of a beautiful woman.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Pamela Kelly Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home, to help with funeral costs.
