Preston M. Karns

Preston M. Karns, 44, of Waldron, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 
St. Vincent's Hospital.
Born September 8, 1975 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Walter R. Karns and
Jeannette (Thibo) Karns.  He married Ty Jones on April 20, 2019 and she survives.
Other survivors include his father of Akron, Ohio; 3 brothers Brian Karns of Indianapolis,
Kevin Karns of Cincinnati, and Allen Karns of Indianapolis.  He was preceded in death by
his mother and a stillborn infant son Clayton Karns.
Mr. Karns had lived in this area for 14 years, after moving from Akron, Ohio. He graduated
from Pius X High School in Lincoln, Nebraska, and attended the University of Akron.  
Preston and Ty were  looking forward to the arrival  of their unborn child.  He enjoyed his hobby
of working with art glass, and setting up and shooting off pyrotechnics.  He was on the heart
transplant list and fulfilled his wish of being an organ donor to help others.
A memorial service will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son
Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Seleka  Behrs officiating.  Friends may pay their respects
from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
