Randy Walsman

Randy Walsman, 64, of New Whiteland, passed away September 20, 2023 at his residence.

Born May 28, 1959 in Batesville, Indiana, he was the son of Robert Lee Walsman and Barbara Jean (Vierling) Walsman. 

Survivors include daughter- Christy (Peter) Norton of Johnson County, In; siblings- Jeannie Walsman of Shelbyville, Kandy Walsman of Shelbyville, Brenda Williams of Shelbyville, Patricia (Billy) Elliott of Shelbyville, Judy Walsman of Franklin, Tim Walsman of Fairland, Tammy (Jason) Morgan of Panama City, FL; 2 grandchildren- Allyson Norton, and Lucy Norton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers- Bud Walsman and Rick Walsman.

Mr. Walsman had lived 11 years in the New Whiteland area after previously moving from Shelbyville. He was a self employed lifelong painter. Randy enjoyed watching the Indy 500, NFL football, but most of all loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grand daughters.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 1:00-3:00pm at the funeral home.
