Rena Bennett

Rena Bennett, 80, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born May 4, 1943 in Boggstown, she was the daughter of Albert Losey Anderson and Beulah (McKay) Anderson.  She married Robert Edward Bennett on November 4, 1967 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2010.

Survivors include 4 children- Eva Beeson, Tammy Knuckles, Freda Dixon (John Cline), Lisa Browning; 2 siblings- Rose Stoneking, Leroy Anderson; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.  She  was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, 2 sisters, and one brother.

Mrs. Bennett was a lifelong resident of this area, and was a home maker.

A Gathering of Friends will be from 3:00 till 4:00 pm on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road. No funeral services will be observed.
