Richard Weaver Obituary


Richard A. Weaver, 79,  of Waldron, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his residence.
Born March 1, 1941 in Rushville, he was the son of Pearl Weaver. He married Wilma (Douglas)
Weaver in 1962 and she preceded him on April 10, 2013.
Other survivors include son Ricky Weaver (wife Alice) of Kokomo; grandchildren-
Shawn Weaver, Megan Weaver, Kirsten Beckett; and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, 2 brothers Sonny & Ronnie Weaver.
Mr. Weaver was a lifetime resident of this area and graduated from Waldron High School.
Richard was a woodworker & owned and operated Country Cricket in Waldron for several years. 
 He was  a member of VFW of Shelbyville and a US Navy Vietnam veteran achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
Richard enjoyed woodworking, and spending time with his family & grandchildren.
Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery.  No services will be observed.
