Robbin R. McKay

Robbin R. (Loveless) McKay, 65, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Community Hospital South.

Born April 7, 1958 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Herbert Loveless and Phyllis (Carrico) Loveless.

Survivors include 3 children- Jarod Starks (Brandi Chiquito) of Brownsburg, Susie McKay of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Mary McKay of Shelbyville, Tennessee; a sister Jeannetta Wright (husband Robert) of Decatur, Alabama; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. McKay had lived in this area for most of her lifetime, and graduated from Morristown High School. She had worked for several years as an LPN in home health care. Robbin enjoyed doing volunteer work, especially for the Salvation Army, and dearly loved her dog Mono.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. Robert and Philip Wright officiating. Burial will be in Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
