Robert E. Kuhn, 92, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021
at his residence.
Born June 24, 1929 in Shelby County, he was the son of Riley L. Kuhn and
May C. (Collins) Kuhn.  He married Edna M. (Elliott) Kuhn on August 6, 1949,
and she preceded him on May 23, 2019.
Survivors include 5 children- Loretta Gomez of Woodstock Georgia, Janet Gray
(husband Johnny) of Fairfield, David Kuhn (wife Cindy) of Shelbyville, Daryl Kuhn
of Shelbyville, Tammy Gabbard (husband Steve) of Shelbyville; 4 grandchildren
and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse, 
a son Roger Kuhn, brother Donald Kuhn, and 2 sisters- Louise Meyer, and Helen Veach.
Mr. Kuhn was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Shelbyville High
School in 1947.  He had been a self employed general construction/handyman for many
years.  During that time he had also been a shop teacher at the Indiana School for the Blind
for 5 years.  He was a member of Morristown Christian Church, a 4H leader in Hanover
Township, and a volunteer for St. Margaret's Guild for 29 years.
Robert enjoyed traveling, while visiting all 48 lower states- Canada and Mexico, and
woodworking.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Glenn E. George 
& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Fred Hickman officiating.  Burial
will be in Asbury Cemetery.  Friends may call on Monday morning from 11:00 am
until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
