Robert Redd Obituary

Robert J. Redd, 65, of Fountaintown, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at MHP Medical Center.

Born May 24, 1957 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Robert Earl Redd and Judith Carmelita (Basey) Redd. He married Melissa (Keller) Redd on September 25, 1993 and she survives.

Other survivors include his mother Judith and 5 children- Misty Tuttle (Michael) of Fountaintown, Stacey Dominguez (Salvador) of Seymour, Joshua Redd of Flat Rock, Stacia Redd of Fountaintown, Chelsea McMichael (Christopher) of London; 5 siblings- Jerry Redd (Lottie) of Greensburg, Debra Hignite (Brad) of Fort Wayne, Barbara Spence (Houston) of Shelbyville, Timothy Redd (Debbie) of Shelbyville, Terry Redd of Shelbyville; 15 grandchildren- Christoper, Sydney, Adrien, Analise, Alessandra, Hayden, Wesley, Ruby, Magnolia, Maronika, Cody, Justin, Bobbie, Brittany, Landon; 6 great grandchildren- McKenzie, Caiden, Isaiah, Scarlett, Drew,and Oaklan. He was preceded in death by his father, brother William Dale Redd and grandson Michael Tuttle.

Mr. Redd was a lifetime resident of this area and attended Shelbyville and Rushville High Schools. Robert was a building superintendent for Shelbyville National Guard Armory Aviation/Army Support Facility for 23 years.

Robert enjoyed woodworking, camping, hiking, fishing, researching family history, and listening to 50's and 60's music.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd. with Pastor Wayne Scott officiating. Burial will be  in Asbury Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday evening, May 26th, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
