Ruth Jennings Obituary


Ruth E. Jennings, 86, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020
at OUR Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Born May 5, 1934 in Mansfield Ohio, she was the daughter of Burton Baughman Schrack 
and Edna Luella (Darling) Schrack. She married Luzern Jennings on September 20, 1950
and he preceded her on June 7, 2000.
Survivors include a son Irving Jennings (wife Beverly) of Shelbyville, a daughter
Beverly Kay Pike of Shelbyville; 5 grandchildren- Michelle Taylor, Neil Jennings, 
Jeff Jennings, Alicia Euell, Jennifer Nordeen; 12 great grandchildren, and one great-
great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, infant
son Stephen Jennings, 5 sisters, and grandson Brian Waddell.
Mrs. Jennings had lived in this area for 58 years, after moving from Mansfield
Ohio.  She had been a factory worker at International Packings Corp. in Shelbyville
for many years, retiring in 1999.  She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah
Witnesses in Shelbyville.
Ruth loved knocking on doors with the Jehovah Witnesses and being involved in
Kingdom Hall activities, baking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Glenn E. George
& Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.  Friends may call on Saturday
afternoon from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Kingdom Hall in care of the funeral home.
