Sandra Kae Jones

Sandra Kae Jones, 70, of Boggstown, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 25, 1953 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Pearl Hacker and Claudia (Bowling) Hacker. She married Gary Wayne Jones on November 6, 1994, and he preceded her on April 22, 2023.

Left behind to mourn her loss is her mother Claudia of Indianapolis, 6 children- Regina Marie Hampton (Johnny Mack Drusendahl) of Roswell, New Mexico, Monica Renee Jones Higdon (Darrell) of Needham, Anjanette Cravens (Sean) of Indianapolis, Jason Jones (Victoria) of Abilene, Texas, Suzannah Dawn Hampton of Fortville, David Andrew Hampton of San Angelo, Texas; 6 sisters- Cathie Kelley (Mike) of Sarasota, Florida, Pamela Hayes of Indianapolis, Sheri Hacker of Indianapolis, Tonya Tullos (Lindsey) of Indianapolis, Teresa Johnston of Indianapolis, and Shauna Schwab (Kevin) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, sister Robin Caito and grandson Devin Michael Cravens.

Mrs. Jones had lived in this area most of her life and attended Arsenal Tech High School. Sandra was a security guard for Navistar for several years. She came from a musically talented family and enjoyed being involved in their singing and playing. She loved her family dearly, and cherished the time that she spent with them. She loved her country home, and it was always open to family and friends. She never knew a stranger.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, September 15, 2023 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Andy Lee officiating. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
