Sherry Marks

Sherry Marie Martin Marks, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away on November 20, 2020. Born in 1951, she was the daughter of June and Loren Martin, Jr. 
She was a graduate of Shelbyville High School and worked at Kroger for many years. She enjoyed Bingo, soap operas, cats,  collecting M & M's and Coca Cola memorabilia.
She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Sherry is survived by her husband, David Marks;  sons: Todd (Kimberly) and Michael (Jenny) Marks; mother, June Martin; sisters Sheila Myers and Toni Dobbins; and 
grandchildren: Sydney, Emme, and Devon Marks. She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Martin, Jr;  granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Marks, and grandparents, Gilbert Pate, Sr. and Odessa Pate. 
Sherry was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be terribly missed.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, at 12:00 noon with Rev. David Humphrey officiating. Friends may call that morning from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery.  Sherry has requested that everyone in attendance wear casual attire.
