Trampas Weitzel Obituary


Trampas K. Weitzel, 51, of Manilla, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his residence. 
Born August 29, 1969 in Rushville, he was the son of Gary and Vicki (Nickolas) Weitzel.
Survivors include his father and mother of Manilla; brothers Travis Weitzel (fiance Kriste Scott)
of Homer, Toma Weitzel (wife Tracy) of Arlington; his grandmother Mary Fishback Nickolas of
Manilla; nephew T.J. Weitzel of Manilla, nieces Ciara Bertram of Paragon, Paige Weitzel of Manilla;
2 aunts- Marsha Need of Shelbyville, Linda Parton of Indianapolis and his dog Saber.
Mr. Weitzel had lived in this area since 2003, after moving from Wisconsin.  He graduated from
Rushville High School in 1989 and was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and Knights
of Columbus in Shelbyville.  He had been a factory/construction worker for several years.
Trampas was an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan.  He also enjoyed flowers
and gardening.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral
Home, 437 Amos Road. Burial will be in Manilla Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday evening, October 29, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to OUR Hospice of South Central Indiana, in care of the funeral home.
