William Holt

William G. Holt, 61 of St Paul, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at OUR Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
He was born on November 25,1957 to Hershul Holt & Martha (Paul) Holt. He married Karen (Fischer) Harter, after being 
together for 24 years, on December 15, 2014 for a total of 29 years together.
Other survivors include children- Kyle Harter(wife Brittny) of Rushville; Ryan Holt (wife Brittany) of Shelbyville;
siblings- Barbara Huff of Brownsburg; Glenn Holt (wife Sarah) of St. Paul; Paula Yates of Edinburgh; Debbie
Kluemper (husband Ed) of Milroy; Jack Holt ( wife Cheryl) of Glenwood; Jeff Holt of St Paul, Kathy Douglas
(husband Ron) of Shelbyville; grandchildren- Chandler Holt, Owen Holt, Braiden Beesley, Jayden McGuire,
Waylen McGuire, Daylen McGuire, Kaiden Gabbard, Kali Harter, Kyah Harter, he is also survived by several
nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Bonnie Shafer.
Mr. Holt graduated from Waldron High School in 1977 and served in the Indiana National Guard after High School.
He was a fork lift driver for OSL of Greensburg for 6 years, and worked at several different construction companies
throughout the years. He was a lifetime resident of this area.
Bill loved spending time with family and friends and spoiling his grandkids. He loved being outdoors, hunting,
fishing & sitting around the campfire. He was known for telling jokes and was always the life of the party.
Funeral services will be 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Rd,
with Pastor Seth Taylor officiating. Visitation will be observed Thursday, from 4:00 until the time of the service.
Military rites will be conducted by a local veterans organization. 
Memorials can be made to Shelby County Cancer Association or OUR Hospice of South Central Indiana in care
of the funeral home.
