William "Bill" Seeling, 76, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his residence.
Born January 17, 1944 in Terre Haute, he was the son of Maurice Seeling and Dorothy (Corbett) Brown.
After his father's death, he was raised by his step father Ernie Brown. He was married to Colleen (Kemp) Seeling
for 24 years, then remained friends for another 15 years.
Survivors include 3 children- Emily Polston (husband Justin) of Shelbyville, Stacey Hernandez (husband Vance) of Ft. Wayne, Chad
Seeling (wife Connie) of Brandson, Missouri; 2 siblings- Steve Brown (wife Regina) of North Carolina, Jerry Seeling (wife Karen)of Terre Haute; and grandchildren
Ella Polston, Leo Polston, and Wes Polston (who were the lights of his life). He was preceded in death by
his parents, stepfather Ernie Brown.
Mr. Seeling had lived in this area for 25 years after moving from Michigan ,and was a member of Shelbyville Community Church.
He owned and operated men's clothing store in Evansville and Michigan for several years, and later was involved in
title work and home closings for 30 years.
Bill was, and always will be incredibly loved. He was a huge family man and loved spending most of his time
with his kids and his 3 grandkids. He will be sorely missed, but talked about often among his family and all
of his friends.
A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
