Zelma Faye Tucker, 91, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020
at Morristown Manor.
Born July 5, 1928 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Denzil L. Bogue
and Zelma Deloris (Andrews) Bogue. She married Maurice Tucker on August 13,
1951 and he preceded her on February 7, 2000.
Survivors include 2 sons- Jack Edward Tucker of Shelbyville, and Wayne Allen Tucker
(wife Terry) of Shelbyville; her twin sister Phyllis Mae Sanders of Shelbyville; 2 grandchildren- Dana
& Derek Tucker, and 2 great grandchildren- Paige & Peyton Tucker. She was preceded
in death by her parents, and her spouse.
Mrs. Tucker had been a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Morristown
High School in 1946. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and was a homemaker.
Zelma enjoyed playing Bingo and working crossword puzzles.
Public graveside services will be 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Forest Hill Cemetery,
with Gerald Kessler officiating. No visiting hours will be observed.
